Style Your Yoga Clothes From Studio to Street with These Tips

With a plan, you can maximize major style points with your yoga clothing! From accessories and shirt ties to light jackets and color coordination, you can easily take your style from studio to street!

Tops:

style tips

A yoga top that can be tied provides flexibility to your overall look and makes it easy to switch up your style. Have an overly long tank? Tie an off-centered knot in the front to give it some flair! Yoga shirts can also be tied and adjusted to fit loose, tight, or function as a crop top.

Layering pieces are also key. Think: jackets, tees, sweatshirts, cardigans, tanks and bralettes. Slip on a crop top, or pair a cut-out tee over your yoga bralette and, voila! You have an effortless and stylish look.

Bottoms:

yoga apparel

Yoga pants have come a loooong way! Originally, cotton and flared, they are now sleek or baggy and often made from luxurious, soft materials. With so many designer yoga pants to choose from these days, it’s easy to look and feel good whether on the mat, out running errands or catching up with friends. The options are endless with high waisted, low waisted, cropped, both bright and neutral patterns, solids, mesh and cut outs!

It’s all in the details...

Shoes: Shoes make a statement and can complete any look. Of course, during yoga, shoes aren’t needed. However, when it comes to a street look, you can easily transform your studio style with a pair of gorgeous shoes! Dress up a yoga outfit with heels, or go casual with tennis shoes, sandals or slip ons.

Earrings: Statement earrings like bold chandeliers, small animal studs, cuffs and hoops add flavor to your outfit!

Bracelets: Bracelets made from crystals, lava rocks and fun beads can really add to your overall aesthetic.

Bags: Large or small bags come in handy and can help with organization and style, of course.

Hair: Thankfully, beautiful beachy hair and undone looks are trending. A little dry shampoo and an easy go to style such as a bun, braid, or loose tresses will leave you ready for a day or night out!

Don’t forget to plan out your yoga clothes and pack the night before so you can head out the door with confidence! Have an awesome look? Share it with the YogaClub community on My Yoga Journey, and don’t forget to hashtag #studiotostreet!
