yoga brands

Today’s featured brand has been empowering yogis for over a decade, all while making a difference in the world through sustainable production and responsible business practices.

Meet Manduka.

Q: How long has Manduka been around?
A: Manduka was founded in 1997. While known for their mats, their apparel line launched in 2016 and yogis have been loving it ever since.

Q: What was the vision behind the company?
A: Manduka has always been committed to ethical and sustainable production. The brand is inspired and guided by a responsibility to reduce global consumption, from making yoga mats that last longer to designing apparel made from recycled materials. Manduka’s curated collection of sustainably-sourced clothing is not only made for you, but made for yoga.

Q: Where are they from?
A: Manduka is our neighbor, also headquartered in El Segundo, California!

Q: Why do we love them at YogaClub?
A: Manduka is a brand that just gets yoga! Their apparel line, like their mats, is high quality and made to last. Each design is functional and features everything we love in quality activewear — four-way stretch, quality construction, and recycled fabrics. We also love the fact that sustainability and giving back isn’t just a program, it’s built into their business model.

Q: What types of activities are their clothes best for?
A: Yoga’s the easy answer, but Manduka apparel is great for so much more! Wear Manduka pieces for active endeavors from hiking and barre to everyday wear.

Q: What kind of tech specs does Manduka feature?

A: Manduka’s eco-friendly apparel includes recycled fabrics and organic cottons featuring four-way stretch and breathability perfect for your practice.

Learn more about Manduka by checking them out on Facebook & Instagram!
